Firefly CSWIP Welding Inspector

26 March 2019

Firefly project manager Michael Burgess has recently passed the CSWIP welding inspector course.

Michael says: "This is a great qualification for a welding projects manager. It gives me a fuller understanding and helps when I'm talking to clients, weld engineers and independent inspectors".

Michael has been involved with Firefly for several years. He has managed Firefly welding projects all over Europe, Central America, North America, Africa and recently in Russia.

The programme also includes visual inspection, the testing of parent metals and welds, and destructive and non-destructive test techniques.

Welder and procedure approval, codes and standards, and an outline of safe working practices is also covered on the course.
