IPWL was formed in November 2007 with a bright idea to build a better welding bug. After several years of development work, the first Firefly was born.

The current model Firefly is the result of a simply philosophy – design it, test it, get user feedback, improve. Then do it all again! A seemingly endless cycle of incremental improvements has matured Firefly into what it is today. The bright idea to build a better welding bug is still alive and well at IPWL.

Firefly is a semi-automatic welding machine designed and manufactured in the UK by IPWL Limited
